Hello families! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Our Gliteracy event will be this Friday the 11th, from 8:15 - 10:10.If you would like to volunteer in our classroom for that time, please contact Mrs. Wilkinson. She is the Title I teacher and is coordinating the event. The students will be rotating to each of the 2nd grade classes for about 20 minutes to complete a Valentine's Day-themed project. Parent assistnace will be GREATLY appreciated, because you will be rotating with the students to each class. The students will be making a sweet heart wreath tomorrow to decorate our room for our Valentine's day fesitivities on Feb. 14th, which is next Monday. For Monday, students can bring in their Valentine's cards to exchange. We will be exchanging in the afternoon. Please do not send any extra snacks or treats. Cards which come with a snack or treat are more than welcome, but please do not send cupcakes and other baked goods. I will have a snack to share with the students, so anything extra won't be necessary.
