Thanksgiving is here already...how time flies!

The students have finished their unit on the First Thanksgiving.  They will be cotiniuing their work on the American Revolution.  After working with taxation without representation, they have continued their study guide which correlates with the book we are reading as a class, Magic Tree House American Revolution Research Guide.  They have learned quite alot about life in the colonies, such as the jobs the colonists had and what they truly fought to get from the revolution.  It's exciting to see the students learn so much!

We will be starting a new story next week about the new quarter design, a story called Change for the Quarter.  It is another Time for Kids Special Report offered in their reading series book.

For math, the students will be completing their unit on additon and subtraction, and working their way into measurement.  This always turns out to be a fun unit for the kids, because it is hands-on.

Thank you to all who donated some items today-  they will prove to be extremely helpful in your students' activities.

Happy Thanksgiving!
